Who is Kristin June…

            Who is Kristin June? Good question, that is something I ask myself daily. How do I come across to the people who know me down to the deepest aches of my heart as well as those who see me walking across the parking lot into a coffee shop? Does the Kristin June that intentionally drinks coffee with people, loves on kiddos, runs with a pace equivalent to a turtle, and desires to jet off to new locations as often as possible reflect the Kristin that was placed here for a purpose by a loving creator? I sure hope so.

So a little about me:

1. I love coffee shops and visiting new ones, as well as being a regular at Chaplure.
2. I know an excessive amount of facts about chestnuts since my family owns a chestnut orchard.
3. I graduated in May 2018 from Spring Arbor University with a bachelors in Early Childhood Education.
4. My friends call me KJ or anything along the lines of Ginger
5. I am pumped that the Jonas Brothers are back together!
6. I was born on Black Friday, which accurately describes my appreciation for a good deal.
7. I worked at a summer camp for three summers and for that reason I love “repeat after me” songs and a good team building activity.
8. Half the time I sing what I want to say, and I am by no means a singer… oops. 🙂
   
9. I can be brought to tears over simply looking at babies. It happens a lot.
10. I share an unhealthy number of videos on Facebook, usually including children, puppies, or Buzz Feed recipes.  
11. My dog Cosette (named after Les Misérables) is my best friend.
12. I used to make worm families when my mom would plant flowers, and because of that I love flowers.
13. Michigan Pothole is my absolute favorite ice cream, it is chocolate overload! If you’re not from Michigan to experience such a treat, I am sorry, you’ll have to come visit and we will try it out, but try to dodge the actual potholes!
14. Looking at the clouds can stop me in my tracks, clouds are captivating. 
15. Nature is one of my favorite places to be. Whether it is hiking in the mountains, hammocking by a lake reading a book, or sitting under the stars with friends.
16. Alliteration is a crucial communication tool for me.
17. Fun fact: camels are my favorite animals, with a close second going to giraffes!
18. I pride myself in Netflix binging all of Friends in one month, Jterm junior year for all you SAU people reading this! 
19. I can jam to any type of music: JT, Kane Brown, Chance the Rapper, Beach Boys, Adele, Disney, you name it!
20. My favorite Bible Verse is Isaiah 54:10 “Though the mountains may crumble and the hills depart, my everlasting love for you will never leave, nor my covenant of peace, declares the Lord who has compassion on you.” It paints such a beautiful picture of grace and helps me tell my Jesus story when people ask about my tattoo with this reference.
